Greatness

Rocky Balboa once said, " Let me tell you something you already know. The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows, it's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are, but it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gong to hit as hard as life, but it isn't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. And that's how winning is done."
Tony D'Amato said, "You will soon find out that life is a simple game of inches, because in either life the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half a second too slow, too fast, and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break of the life, every minute, every second, and in life, we sometimes have to fight for that inch. In life, we tear ourselves to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know that when we add up all those inches, that's going to make the difference between losing and winning! Between living, and dying!"
In life, you have success and failure. Many people understand that, but they refuse to understand that in order to attain success, you must be able to obtain ever moment of failure throughout that road. Most great people obtained greatness just one try after their experience of insignificance. Motivation is great, but you have to understand it for it to mean something to you. Motivation can mean many things, but when understood, it means something specific to you. These are my two favorite quotes because they mean something to me. I just wanted to take a break from sports and talk about something sentimental to me and hopefully to you guys too. Hope you all enjoyed!

So Close!

So two weeks ago I wrote my blog about the Packers flawless season. Well I guess I can't do that anymore. The Packers are my favorite team and that loss won't affect that, but what did anger me is all the hat that they got on their team social media. Now I do follow them and when I looked through the comments section I saw two things. A lot of profanity and excuses. The profanity was unnecessary, but what can you do.
The excuses all revolved around their missing players and how no matter what, on almost every play was a long pass throughout the whole field. Now I think that the missing players is an irrelevant excuse, but the long passes down the field and the silly play calls was proven to be true. Due to all of those long passes they gave up the ball many times and didn't score a lot. Now usually, I would give a rundown o the game, but I feel that a breakdown is unnecessary for a game like this. The Broncos played well and had a good counter to ever single play of the Packers, causing them to lose the game.
Now the Packers are still doing good, although they are not flawless anymore, but they still have a chance in the playoffs if they start to play smarter and not as aggressive. In football, you need to know your opponent before underestimating them, but because the Packers didn't do that, they lost the game, and their flawless streak. As the playoffs near, more teams are trying a lot harder, so that means the Packers should go back to the way that they were before. This was a sad end to their streak and I hope that next week they start to play smarter and better. As always, I cant wait for next week's games and seeing how a few teams go up, and a few teams go down, but hopefully not the Packers.

The Chiefs of the Game

First of all, I hope you all had an amazing Halloween  and are now getting ready for the holidays. All I can tell you is from now on, as we near the holidays, the NFL is nearing the playoffs and the Super Bowl. And every week, there is always an unexpected game involving the underdogs of the league rising, and showing the people that they have what it takes to win.
This time, it was the Kansas City Chiefs going up against the Detroit Lions. They both entered the Wembley Stadium in London with high hopes and a strong adrenaline running in their bodies. As the first quarter started the Lions started with the ball, but the Chiefs had an amazing defense, holding the Lions back and only letting them score a field goal. As the Chiefs receive the ball, the score is 3-0 with the Lions in the lead. Followed by an amazing defense, the Chiefs had an amazing offense a well, scoring a touchdown within five minutes of the possession with the ball. AS the Lions received the ball again, the Chiefs held them back ending the first quarter 3-7, with the Chiefs in the lead. As the second quarter entered, it ended. Well at least for the Lions. The Chiefs scored two touchdowns that quarter and held back the Lions to scoring 0. The first half ended with the score 3-24 in the Chiefs favor.
In the third quarter the Chiefs scored again and held back the Lions, entering the final quarter with a score of 3-31. After starting the quarter off with a touchdown for the Chiefs scoring a touchdown. As the score is 3-38, the Lions gain possession of the ball and score! One touchdown making the score 10-38. And to top the game off, the Chiefs scored again, ending this game 10-45. This was an amazing game and very interesting as well. The NFL is always fun, but I want to start blogging about different sports as well. We'll see what sport comes up next week, and if you'd like leave a request in the comments. This was an amazing game and I cant wait for more games as fun and interesting as this.
