Feirce Over Fun

Today I will be blogging about one of the most fiercest basketball players in my opinion. Her name, is Lana Kahaha. This girl claims to have the "moves like Jagger". Me being the lucky person I am, play games with her. Never on the opposite team. She had possession of the ball when a kid tried to steal it from her. She huddled up and threw back her elbows to create some space, but because he was on her side, on of the elbows she threw nailed him in the chest and slammed him against the wall. Another time, she ran through a kid, and flipped him over. The only problem is she can't drain her threes.

Lana is extremely athletic and devoted herself to basketball. Although she never practices her shot or dribbling, she practices her aggression. If she were in the WNBA nobody could withstand her force. She's like a gazelle with the power of a bull. I mean, who needs a good shot when you have the power of a pick up truck. She's like the Marshawn Lynch of basketball. She can carry all five opposing players and the rest of her team with her muscles and aggression. Kahaha is planning her future in law, as she wants to be a lawyer. That is why she practices basketball. Her aggression and power will be perfect for her, but she should always know one thing. That if being a lawyer or a teacher fails, basketball will always be there for her. Anger management as well. I wish you the best of luck Lana Kahaha.

The Skittles are Expired?

Yes, it is true. Beast Mode, Skittles, the King, Marshawn Lynch, has officially announced his retirement. He posted a picture of his cleats hung up on a telephone wire. He has spoken to the general manager and said that he wants to retire after playing 9 seasons in the NFL. Now many people think that he has only played for the Seattle Seahawks, but before he played for Seattle, he was a running back for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills traded him to the Seahawks, which I guarantee that even they regret that decision.

Marshawn Lynch is 30 years old and one of the best running backs in the league. He is mostly known for being able to run an extra 20 yards with all the opposing team on his back, but that only happens if they can touch him. He is also known for eating many big bowls of skittles before his game. He has many famous highlight reels in which involve him throwing down anyone who tries to tackle him.

Let me explain the skittles. As a child, his mother never let him eat skittles, so when he did, he always had a lot of energy. So to maintain that energy during a game, he devours skittles. Eating all the skittles that he has, and still having a body like him itself is harder than actually playing football. So here's to one of the best running backs in the league.

The Kings have been Abdicated

The NHL playoffs. A time of joy, bandwagons, and nice hockey edits on Instagram. Personally, I don't really incorporate myself with hockey that often. Mainly basketball and football. The only time I watch every sport is during the playoffs. The NHL is one of the top three most watched game during playoffs, after basketball and football.

Yesterday was a match between the Los Angeles Kings and the San Jose Sharks. Now the Kings are notorious for their last second comebacks. So they came into a do or die game 1-2, meaning that if they lost, they are out. In the 2nd period, the Sharks were leading 3-0. All of a sudden, BAM. Tied game, 3-3. Everyone thought they would win after that, so with their expectations high, they fell down faster than the ball that Mark Sanchez held when he executed the famous butt fumble.

The game ended 6-3, and the Kings had to go home. They won the Stanley Cup in 2014, but will they be able to do that again?

Mamba Out... Of The NBA

4-13-16 was Kobe Bryant's final game in the NBA. It was pronounced as 'Mamba Day'. A day committed to the pure respect of a legend. Normally in these blogs I'm witty, but in this case, I feel that some respect is a given. Kobe played his best at all times, and never gave up. In his final speech he says "I was given a talent, but the only reason I was better than everyone else is because I practiced. But when I practiced, I practiced like I was never given a talent. That's what made me better than everyone else. I never took my talent for granted."

Personally, I think it's safe to say that my childhood consisted of two major things. SpongeBob and Kobe Bryant. He is the one who got me to start playing basketball and to never take things for granted, because if you think about it, the feeling you get after working for something in comparison to just getting it handed to you is way better in means of pride and self-esteem.

Kobe was a very down to earth person. When I met him for the first time he offered to take a picture, gave me a signed ball, picked me up, and never once showed any greed or that he was spoiled. That was when I was 6. Fast forward 7 years, and now I have a picture hung of him and I in my room, a ball signed by him, and another ball signed by all the Lakers, and some more.

In his last game, not only did he drain the shot that won them he game, but he also dropped 60 points. It only makes sense, right? Your last game has to be your best game. And now that he is gone, his final words ring in my ears "Mamba Out". Now think about it, "Mamba Out", means that pure greatness is gone. The NBA will never be the same, thank you Kobe.

April Fools Rules! Get It...

Oh no. Guess what's coming up. April Fools! The time where you can joke about anything and the people with the lower i.q and no common sense decide to take it to another level. They think they can get away with anything, but they can't. Harm or illegal pranks can get you in just as much trouble as any other day. Another rule is that you can only play "pranks" until noon. That way, you can believe people for the second half of the day.

Then you have the people who disregard everything and go the whole day saying "April Fools!". That's why another rule comes in handy. One rule is that if one asks you if it is an April Fools joke, you must immediately confess to it. Also, another rule is that if you perform an illegal crime on this day, the sentence is double. Instead of a year, it's 2. Imagine performing a murder at 11:59 and 59 seconds.

I never knew any of these rules, and I had a lot of fun searching this stuff up. Use this as a guide to tell you from right and wrong. Stay smart, and stay safe.

Call of... I Don't Know Anymore

In this blog, I will be talking about the newest feature on Call of Duty. I know this is off topic, but is an extremely interesting and hilarious topic. Enjoy!

Call of Duty was created by David Vonderhaar, and has grown in the past 6-8 years due to an organization called MLG, which stands for Major League Gaming. It has also grown due to many youtubers that belong to teams of the organization who play the game. A few months ago, Blacks Ops 3 came out.

Black ops 3 is very futuristic, but very modernized. In the game, you have an option to choose your taunt after you win the game. So you know, they had the thumbs up, the wave, but now. Now, they went to far. Ever heard of the whip, or the nae nae? Yeah, they added it. Also, the newest craze, the "dab" has been added.

I, myself play the game and follow the franchise, and I find it very enjoyable. I think it's amazing how they try to have fun in the game by following the new trends on the media. I just don't want to see what's next.

Age is just a Number

In this blog, I will be talking about a big retirement in the NFL. This man is a legend, and will forever be remembered as one. Here we go.

Peyton Manning. Most people know about this, but to real Broncos fans, this is the end of the world. Peyton won 2 Super Bowls in his career. One when he played quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, and one for the Denver Broncos. I mean it's about time. The dinosaur is 40 million years old by now. The man's a legend yeah, but he's so old! Most people retire at 30, but not 67 million years old. This man probably played with the dinosaurs. And by probably, I mean he did. You know a lot of people say that the football  field is called "Peyton's Island" or "The Sheriff's County", but since he is so old, we can call it "Peyton's Pangaea".

All we can do about this retirement is watch him go, majestically drinking his Budweiser beer. I think this man needs a warning. It's not good for you to drink when you are 87 million years old. Don't you think it's kind of weird for a 93 million year old man to be on a field with men in their early 20's, and their goal is to try to knock him onto the ground? Just think about it.
